Insulted me during consultation. Arrogant and rude.
Very caring person. Gives upmost importance to listening to personal and family related everyday things and enjoys a lot talking about them. Always able to get information from me that tells him about the state of my recovery process(long). He was very honest about medication by saying it is by trial and feedback process. It took 2 or 3 trials. Talks very few words what I can do to overcome. I think he knows how hard it is to implement. But I am getting there by putting all of my effort as well.
Saw Dr. Lane one time. I am a college student that has been suffering from depression much of my life. I recently moved to the area and needed a new psychiatrist to help me continue the medication that i've been on for five years now. First time I saw him, he gave me a 30 day prescription which my insurance wouldn't fill. Since i've been on medication for five years my insurance only covers a 90 day refill. Dr. Lane is a wonderful doctor. He was my doctor at Presbyterian Dallas psychiatric unit after several suicidal attempts. I've had him as my psychiatrist and he has always tried his best to regulate my medications out of the hospital. He is of the old school psychiatrist seeing you for 45 minutes to an hour instead of the usual 15 minutes a visit instead of the 15 minutes that psychiatrist do now. He is always a great listener has a wonderful memory and cares about his patients deeply. He cares!
