Adventured over to get a new leaf blower because the grand puppy chewed the cord off the old one. Had the best time practicing speaking Spanish with associate CARLOS aaaand manager DENISE. We missed the onsite turkey grillin'. Dadgum! We will return before Christmas for a "wellness check" to see what else might be cookin'.
Buyer beware. I was caught out by their recent change to their propane refill policy, now charging by the tank instead of by the gallon. I brought one 20lb tank from my grill that was mostly empty and another I use to light my burn pile that was half full. This saves me a trip in the future. The meter read 4 gallons of propane for both but at the register I was charged $15.99 per tank. I'll find another place.
I had an issue with my weed eater echo 225 that I bought two months ago. The string would keep falling out. I took it to Ace and Easley, South Carolina. That’s where Adam the store manager ordered me a new spring and took the time to fix my weed-eater on the spot to where I can continue to use it until he got the other spring in the store very nice and professional, but yet he did not feel like a stranger.
They don't even deserve one star. They checked out our equipment and said it needed several parts and charges $57 just to look at it. I could not afford to get it fixed and took it some where else, they cleaned a small part on the spot and it started up perfectly. So either they don't know what their doing or saw a sucker and just tried to take advantage of an old lady. All the employees I saw looked unhappy and no one was friendly. I went in to buy some new lawnmower blades. The man behind the counter could not find them on his computer. Seeing that there were multiple varieties in stock behind the desk,I asked if it were reasonable to look and match it up. OHH no! He was rude and offended that that was even a consideration!
