It hasn’t rained in over a month, meaning the grass is basically brown. Yet they keep paying someone to come and cut the grass… Or lack thereof. Seems like it would be better to spend that money on having some native bushes and trees put in that will help keep moisture in the ground, so there might be an actual reason to run a mower all summer. Editing to add that they’re already mowing this year and a big reason my family chose to live here was because of the beautiful field of flowers full of birds and butterflies outback.... read more
