Pretty inn with elegance and charm, I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you.

Not exactly the Ritz-Carlton (as it aspires to be), but not bad either. Don't know why they changed the original name (the Northland Hotel), since "Landmark Inn" sounds like part of a hotel chain. The lobby and rooms are pleasantly appointed but nothing special. One of the nicer hotels in town, although the new Hampton Inn going up directly on Lake Superior is definitely going to give it competition.

For a *** star hotel, my experience was very substandard. The lobby is extremely small and lacking any real charm or grandeur, while the waitstaff in the dining room were inattenative and unprofessionally dressed. For a bare bones moderate inn with inferior service, the Landmark Inn will do. Hopefully the new hotel being constructed directly on Lake Superior will offer a superior place to dine and stay.

Very good customer service, and friendly people. The food is good, and priced well
