My relative left this hospital 4 days ago with a horrible bed sore. He spent three weeks at Landmark and they never turned him. My family was there from 10am to 8pm everyday and he was always flat on his back. We moved him 4 days ago to a different facility and they said it is the worst bed sore they have ever seen and Landmark didnt even have it documented in the transfer paperwork. I wouldnt recommend Landmark to anyone. They promised they would perform physical therapy everyday and it was never performed at all. Their ide... read more
A Caring friend you have no idea what your talking about!! Landmark is horrible and filled with the most uncaring lazy incompetent nurses and physicians I have ever seen!! Its a glorified nursing home. They do not care if they ever get a patient out of bed and actually get irritated if you ask them. To help get your family member out of bed. As you are all by now aware, the city of Joplin was struck by the most devastating tornado in over a century. I am happy to report that no staff were injured or killed and that the Landmark Hospital in Joplin was not damaged. I was able to survey the damage first hand during the two relief flights flown from Cape Girardeau. We took medication, fluids, food, linens, etc on the two flights.
