RecommendedThis is a lovely collection of antiques. It is a wonderful way to spend the day in a historical setting. The volunteer enactors are knowledgeable and personable. We really enjoyed ourselves.

RecommendedThe museum and grounds are exceptional. I highly recommend the Heirloom Seed Project at the Herb and Garden Fair. The selection is very good and the prices are excellent. It's where I did all my shopping. This has been an annual Mother's Day tradition for years. Unfortunately, I can no longer afford the astronomical vendor prices for herbs, perennials, shrubs, etc. Who knew peonies were so rare?

RecommendedA slow, beautiful winter’s day at the museum meant we had it to ourselves! We’ve been here many times for all kinds of events, so it was different to not see interpreters or all buildings open. However, every employee we met was so nice and made our quick trip into a fantastic treat for all of us, especially the kids! From tickets, to the animals, to the museum store we felt welcomed.
