I was in a tight spot. My first title company couldn't help clear the title of an REO house we wanted to purchase. My realtor switched us to Land Title and Amy Ficocello saved the day! Not only did she do an outstanding job securing a clean title and closing the deal, she even paid an outstanding water bill a year after we closed since Fannie Mae and their realtor wouldn't. I honestly didn't think title companies made much of a difference, but I won't use any other from now on.
