Refused to send financial application based on "their experience." The person who "helped" us was very standoff-ish, and it honestly felt like it was due to having an ethnic surname.
Truly awful experience. Took in my Land Rover as the emissions monitors were not setting.. They kept the vehicle for a month and best as I can tell did very little. Told they ran a test and got some off the monitors to set but i needed to drive the car to get the others to set. Had the monitors checked when I got home and all the same monitors were still not set. - so pretty clear they did nothing useful and Just gave me back the vehicle because they don't know how to diagnose anything unless a car seta code on the OBD . I purchased a $100K+ range rover at this dealership on 6/12/21. I had to take it in for service of a brand new car on 6/16/21. The issues; some safety related to the seats, cracking noise, and trunk not properly closing was shared and requested to be checked out before purchasing to the sales person and sales manager. They claimed they checked and I made the purchase. After the purchase driving home from the dealership, I realized the issues were not checked out at all. I just left Land Rover Encino with utter disappointment. WORST sales service I've ever received. I wish I could give this dealer zero stars but unfortunately it doesn't allow me to. Alex is the worst salesman. He didn't express any interest whatsoever in gaining my business. Stay away from this dealer that's all I have to say.
FRAUDS AND LIARS. Bijan Albarian is a salesman there, and he has tortured me for almost 6 weeks. I did a test drive based on a good internet price, and then he and I negotiated a deal - all in writing - for the car. But when I am on the way there he says the car is not available. He wants to sell me a more expensive car, though. I insist he get a car to fulfill the deal and legal obligation he made. Great Experience All Around! – My husband and I just bought a new Range Rover Sport Supercharged from Terry. He was terrific all around. He gave us a very fair trade on our old car and the entire experience was totally pleasurable, something unusual when normally buying a car can be a hassle and a long experience. Moe in finance made things a breeze. The whole staff were not only pleasant but we look forward to buying our next car with them.
Not trustworthy – Land Rover Encino's repair quote: $1,700 minimum. What I paid to an outside mechanic for the job: $300. I expect to pay a premium at the dealership. They have special knowledge and equipment. But more than FIVE TIMES the cost? That's not a premium; that's a dishonest mechanic. Not only that, they told me there was a "50-50 chance" that once they did that initial repair, I'd have to spend another $4,000 on an engine rebuild. Absolutely Not – I leased a vehicle from Land Rover Encino in Feb. 2008. The staff there was much different, more service oriented (or so I thought). Within a few mos to a year, most of the people who were assets to the dealership were no longer there. Dexter, their "best" salesman, sold me my Range Rover. He has done absolutely NO follow up since Feb. 2008. My lease is ending. I need another vehicle & I have never received correspondence from the dealership or Dexter to aid in me choosing possibly another Land Rover vehicle... read more
Avoid this dealership!!! – The sales staff and management of this dealership and of its sister dealership, Range Rover South Bay should be listed in a dictionary under "sleaze." My daughter recently telephoned to report that she had successfully negotiated her first car deal. She was very, very proud. The deal included Land Rover Encino's taking her old leased vehicle in on trade and leasing her a new vehicle at no additional cost except for the customary drive-offs.
