Dr Governales incompetence and lack of knowledge of Papillidema is why my son is blind. I watched my son lose his eyesight over 17 days while they assured me to just wait 2 weeks for pressure to adjust. He has been blind for 3 years, starting at the end of 1st grade. He was playing baseball and reading 3rd grade books. Now he is proficient at Braille. We drive 3 hours to All Children's to avoid at all costs.

Dr. Governale did my son's shunt almost 4 years ago. Let me say that Dr. governale is the best!!! My son hasn't had no issues or problems with his shunt & since he got his shunt put in my son was accomplish a lot of his milestones. We was living in Valdosta and use to travel to FL just for his check ups. We have since moved to Savannah and change insurance. The neurosurgeons up here isn't the best and I wish he would accept ours. 🥺

best nuerosurgeon you can get saved my life on numerous occasions he is very reliable and i have no issues putting a 100% of my faith in him I had an accident in january and suffered a gswto my right temporal lobe but he saved my life
