Dr Simkins is very patient and caring but his office is terrible. They've made four very important mistakes on my records and in getting records from hospitals. It's like the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I fear the next mistake will make me leave this doctor and his office.
Dr. Simkins cares a lot about me as his patients and tells me the truth about my medical conditions. He is very deliberate in pointing out the issues he feels are important for me to know, such as the high blood pressure, the weight and lifestyle changes including exercise. He is dedicated to sharing valid and important information to the patients who are obese, and is intentional in having them be a part of the solution process. He is a very good doctor.
I love Dr. Simkins. He has helped me so much & is very patient with me. I ask a lot of questions & he answers each one with a lot of concern & great advice. He really cares about my health. & wants to help me lose the weight I need to lose so I can be healthy my whole life. It is not easy but it is a life long commitment not just something to do for a few months. He helps me with a plan to get rid of the weight & have better health to live longer. I learn a lot from this great, special doctor.
I am writing to say what an outstanding cardiologist Dr.Simkins is. I was having a hard time in reference to weight issues & had lots of anxiety about it.. I was worried how the extra weight would effect my heart & my overall health. Dr. Simkins was so patient with me, as I do ask a lot of questions. He made sure I understood all aspects of my medical issues & we worked on a plan just for me to deal with losing the weight in a healthy way. I have lost over 60 lbs, exercise & feel great!
I am a 7 bypass cardiovascular patient. I feel complete confidence in Dr. Lance Simkins & know that he is always there for me, when needed. He has always taken the time to look over all of my prior medical records, to gain an excellent understanding of my extensive medical situation. Additionally, my family & myself, have seen Stephanie, his excellent physician assistant, I can understand why she works as Dr. Simkins' right hand gal. Nurse Lisa is a blessing & he has a wonderful staff as well.
