Been here 5years and it was nice when we first moved in,but has steady went down hill!
They tried to rent me an apartment with no AC in the summer despite having a month after the previous tenants moved to make the place habitable. On top of that, the ceilings are low, appliances are outdated (except the washer/dryer they buy when you move in), the cabinets were sticky, and the paint jobs (painted over sockets, etc) they did were lousy. Only rent here if you have no other place to stay; otherwise, entertain better options.
As an update to my review of the Lanai Apartments I wanted to mention the great location for the St Patrick and Mardi Gras parades on Veterans Blvd. In addition to a nice and quiet place to live, the parades are a big plus for the children.
