I was recommended OBGYN Lana D. Powell by my primary care physician Dr. Christina Gramith. I called Dr. Powell's office today to schedule my first prenatal exam. Robin the receptionist first laughed in my face when I told her my last period was in April and said "you're really behind on your prenatal exams" then proceeded to tell me she would call me back when she got with Dr. Powell to see if she has any openings available. Dr. Powell delivered my 10lb 5oz baby this week she was amazing. I had previously had a 9lb 4oz baby who had gotten his shoulder stuck so she knew to prepare for a shoulder delivery. She was like the goddess of delivery she had me move around to reposition the baby helped my body stretch and basically helped pull him out of me. I can't recommend anyone else for obgyn. I'm not in any pain!
Avoid this doctor if you are a complex case. She refuses to optimize care for the best outcomes. She will not do personalized medicine or listen to patients. Her staff is highly disorganized. I would avoid this doctor.
