Dr. Nguyen has treated me and my wife for pain management. She doesn't just dump drugs on you and works with you in an understanding manner. After my open heart surgery, she got me on and off of some powerful drugs that didn't want to keep taking long term. My wife has cancer and Dr. Nguyen has helped her tremendously as well. She listens and works with you. I recommend her highly. She is the only reason I go to the College Park Specialty office.
I went with my husband to this very important appointment, as he has a long history of chronic pain due to an incompetent surgeon in 2010. His previous provider moved to another opportunity that better suited her needs. I myself am a provider and I have NEVER seen such unprofessional treatment of a patient. She was rude from the beginning, did not want to understand his history or ask questions at ALL. She made offensive statements and judgements, and basically said she would not help him at all. Knowledgeable about my knee pain
She is not an expert in CRPS. She did a procedure that made things much worse and then basically said yes this is CRPS, which we already knew. Then gave a referral to a doctor in Arizona who said he didn't know why she would send us there. After the procedure life has not been the same, absolutely devastating.

She has no empathy for patients in pain. She actually tortured me the way she very roughly examined my legs and pushed them up and down roughly. I exclaimed how much that hurt. Didn’t even say sorry. Terrible bedside manner. Extremely rude when I explained i couldn’t take strong NSAIDs due to GI problems I already have. She wouldn’t give me anything else. Acted like this is my only choice for relief.
It is a mystery that this woman has chosen this specialty of medicine. If it isn’t bad enough going to seek help from a professional when in pain, but to then feel twice as defeated upon leaving. I have never felt so bad about myself. She is very short in her responses, doesn’t wait to listen to needs or prior health history, seems to be completely inconvenienced that she has to be in your presence and doesn’t show any amount of empathy whatsoever.
