Saw the 4.5 star rating and figured we'd give it a try. Had pho, spring rolls, and a vege bowl. It was not the quality I was expecting. The food was fine, no issues. But lacked the flavor and unique ingredients I'd expect from a Vietnamese restaurant. I'd give it a 3.5 stars if I could.
Nhìn tô phở đặc biệt nghèo nàn! Thịt thì có 2 lát thịt tái nữa viên bò viên cắt làm 2 quá hôi! Tô phở quá ít! Thiếu nhiều thứ! Quá dỡ!
We were passing through and gave this restaurant a try because of the great reviews. The pho was mediocre and on the salty side. The bun bo hue was disgusting. It was just vermicelli noodles in the pho broth with a couple slices of meat, no pork knuckles, blood, etc... The spring roll sauce was so watered down. I feel bad for all the folks who eat here on a daily basis and thinks this restaurant actually serves good authentic Vietnamese food.
The pork banh mi at Lam’s Vietnamese in Sioux Falls is flavorful and fresh.
