I went to Dr Lamprecht after being misdiagnosed and mistreated after a dislocated shoulder that was out of socket for more than 6 hours causing lots of soft tissue damage. Very painful and I was very stressed out. Dr Derek was such a kind, empathetic listener. He had already reviewed my MRI and nerve conduction study and explained how the length of time the shoulder was dislocated was the reason for the extended damage. 2020, November, I slipped and fractured my ankle in 3 places and dislocated it. At the hospital, Dr L somehow was chosen as my surgeon. Other than keep your leg elevated, there was no discussion of my condition Total time spent 2 minutes. I never saw him again. Only his PA Heather Marsh, who was not qualified to explain my condition to me. At the final meeting with Heather Marsh, I told her there were problems with pain etc and that my foot was numb, my nerves were dead, and still are. Dr. Lamprecht was a 2nd surgeon I saw to get an additional opinion on a major potential surgery. His eagerness to get me under the knife has in turn caused me major delays in getting care. Dr. Lamprecht sent in authorization for a CT Scan without my consent and now I am going on 4 extra weeks trying to get his eagerness deauthorized so that I can go about the next steps with the surgeon I am choosing to handle my procedure.
