Community manager is an agressive interpreter of all rules and regualtions. Constantly adds new rules and writes up anyone she sunject feels is violating rules. Recently wrote all neighbors muliple supposide violations of said rules. Park looks nice from the entry but not so much once inside. An expensive place to live on a fixed income. No water or trash pickup include except with addional costs. Recently cut back on lawn mantenance only to mow lawns and no triming of sides of units. No stars for this awful place.The security gate is broken and has NOT ever worked right. The streets are run down, and entire park shows little upkeep. This is a very expensive $ place to live. Almost a $1000.00 just in space rent! Management cares nothing about residents needs at all. They only collect money. Beware. Stay away from this depressing place.Â
Used to love my home here, No more!! They constantly nit pick until they force you out...then they move in the new mobile homes for more lot rent...plus these homes were $129,000 just 3 years ago now they are up to $249,000 for the same home!! The management "Cal Am brand Broadway associates lp" aka Steve Anderson should be charged with at least five counts of animal cruelty, they knowingly trespassed a lot renter from his trailer for "not paying his rent" even tho he has receipts to prove it, they've done this to multiple renters and forced them out of the trailer court, they had maintenance go inside to screw the windows/doors shut which they where more than aware of the cats inside of the trailer home, knowing that they would be left in there with no source of ... read more
Owner or management has let this community go down the drain. People have cluttered porch’s , unkept property, rules that no one follows. This is not a 55plus community school bus stops and kids get off and walk right in to this community. People making addition to Mobil homes and renting it out . They keep adding additional increases on lot rent. Once a beautiful well maintained place to live.Â
Read the reviews folks. Stay away. Been here a few months and am leaving. Nice people live here but are under crazy micromanagement.Â
I dont know if i would say the manager is racist but he is strict which can be good and bad. I like the maintenence guy who always helps you and can lead you to resources if you need help maintaining your yard or whatnot. We are disabled and its hard to get up keep or even a handyman in this park and they alays deliver the packages to the wrong space #. it is quiet for the most part but lke all parks you have your night owls and people creeping at all hours, feral cats and rats. you have to do your own pest control or else! ... read more
The horrible manager of the Rose Garden, a Cal-Am property had my car towed away because it was parked in one of many extra overflow lots. It was towed to an expensive storage yard at fifty a day! The total bill so far is six hundred dollars!!! We're both senior citizens and on fixed incomes. I expect to be fully reimbursed for all of her inexperience. You need to get to get rid of her now before she does anymore damage. Your customer service woman from Florida has just created more damage.Â
This park, Far Horizons East is continuing to move down hill in all aspects of resident care. They have consistently increased rent with no regard for their being a senior community, knowing that a large number of residents live on a small fixed income. They have restricted how we can pay our rent, they apparently don’t trust their own park staff to accept rent payments, we are required to go through a third party, or mail payments to Phoenix office.
