Great Food, Great Service! If you are looking for GREAT food, for a reasonable price... in a quaint location... this is the place! Lamplighter restaurant has great lunches and dinners, and specials every month...! German month is a popular time for the sauerbraten and kraut!!! From Portofino to Veal Oscar, Prime rib to Haddock.. Everyone can find something on the menu. The Artichoke french and the French Onion soup never disappoint! Salads are always fresh, and the wait staff is WONDERFUL!
Great Food My husband and I just went here for our anniversary and everything was great. The food was so fresh and they serve hot rolls fresh from the oven. If they know it's your anniversary the will give you a piece of cake and sing to you. It was really romantic.
a few issues The food was very good. Portions very small. The bill was the issue they tacked on a scotch for $5.00 which we never had and charged extra for salad and extra for some dressings which they don't mention till your bill arrives. I really do not care for people who do business that way. Our bill was $110.00 for two and then to penny pinch us like that was unacceptable!!! Never again!
