I was booked for a 2 night stay through Expedia- and I had purchased the cancellation insurance. I arrived in a good mood but the older, bald man at reception was grumpy. I checked in. The room was stuffy and very hot. I tried to get the AC thermostat to work but it was dead. I went downstairs. The older bald receptionist ignored me while the younger Asian man was on the phone. I need to start by saying the customer service was great. Thank you so much for trying to accommodate my request of a quiet room. However… Can’t believe this is $100. Will never stay here again, and I recommend you don’t. Floors absolutely disgusting, and so stained. No A/C or fan in two of the three rooms I saw. Ended up sleeping with the window open. The hot tub was broken and the pool was dirty.

No heat in the room. Was told that no one can help do I want an extra blanket. Seems to be not unusual as the front desk guy said he asked the manager for space heaters. I asked if the manager could be contacted and was told, "that isn't happening". They "might" have a room with heat tomorrow and "probably won't be able to get anyone to fix it over the weekend." Terrible place. Don't stay at Lamplighter Inn! The rooms are smelly, old and dirty.
