Before we checked in, we had to wait in the lobby for a good 30 minutes before the clerk returned to help us. As far as the room, the bathroom counter had ants and the bathroom door robe hook was look as well as spotty WiFi. Definitely our first and last time staying there! Oh and the pool was dirty as well

I regret to say that my experience at this hotel was disappointing. First, I was unaware that the hotel is divided into two separate sections: the main building, which houses the office and pool, and an additional three-story structure across the street with more rooms. We loved our stay at the Lamplighter!! The staff were super kind, especially Jason. The room was clean and comfy. The location is great, very affordable too.

Booked this room June 28th/29 2025 , for a late Father's day trip. The 1st room was absolutely DISGUSTING , looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months . Used Band-aid on the AC, tub was cracked, And what looked liked "you know what" on the bed. Second room was just as bad DO NOT RECOMMEND

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Had someone walk into our room with OUR CHILDREN. They were given the room key thinking it was there room. Asked the manager what happened and he said “sorry”. No other explanation or remedy. Pool and hot tub don’t work, rooms are nasty, can’t leave fast enough. BEWARE
