Dr. Lampkin delivered my oldest 23 years ago and if I lived even remotely close to Lubbock I would still see him. He has a great bedside manner and is an amazing doctor.
Dr. Lampkin and staff are amazing. They go out of their way to make sure patients are well cared for. They have delivered two of my babies. The care was outstanding.
Dr. Lampkin and his staff are absolutely Amazing ! When I was younger he was just my Gynecologist, when I started to have children , you better believe I wouldn't have picked a better OB. I am currently on my third child and not once have I ever had an issue. He & his staff do not stress over pointless things, which is so helpful making things from appointments all the way to delivery smooth as possible! Sylvia his nurse and right hand is also just as amazing I could go on and on!!!!
Rude phone etiquette. Staff was rude in office. Waited over an hour for scheduled appointment. Dr did not explain procedure and was rude to his staff. Never again, and thank god I wasn't pregnant at the time.
The office staff is not friendly and they business is poorly organized. My appointment has been lost twice. They fail to call in birth control refills regularly, and the staff is not cross trained. The doctor is impatient and started to perform a procedure prior to fully explaining the side effects. The office is unwilling to help patients work with issues of any kind. I would not recommend this poorly organized, rudely-staffed OB-GYN office.
Long waits in the office even with an appointment. Always skipped over for "emergency" cases. Rude staff. No help when you call for Rx refills. Terrible visit with the physician who started to perform a procedure prior to the nurse, Sylvia, finished explaining all of the problems associated with the procedure. I was traumatized by this experience and I don't wish this on any other living soul.
Dr. Lampkin does a good job listening to patient concerns. I love his nurse, Sylvia. When I was 14 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child, my husband broke his back. Worried about how my stress was affecting my baby, Sylvia eased my concerns by allowing me to come in at 5pm to do a quick heartbeat check and sonogram. We left around 5:45. I have never had a nurse show as much care and compassion to me as she did that day. Only downside is, wait times have increased since merging with the Covenant.
Doc. Lamkin and his staff are amazing. i've had 7 pregnancies and 5 live children and never in my life did i meet a nurse like his nurse, Silvia. She is like a soldier, strong, disciplined and gets it all right. the star of the show!! then he has his other nurses that are very caring. and then there is mr. lampkin whom is too awesome to describe, it's like going to visit a caring friend and not just your doctor. just as disciplined as his nurses.
its was amazing his a great doctor.
