Have been working with Lampert Lumber for my house build and am glad to be done with them as of today. It started out smooth enough - I needed to keep balance under 150k and would need bank to make payment if went over. Did that twice last fall, no problems. Then in December they changed to monthly billing on me suddenly. I have gotten late fee after late fee. It was impossible for me to send a bill from them to my bank to pay in time. Spoke with Devon on the phone about window casing. When I stopped in a few hours later, he had a sample piece that I could take home to compare with the casing I'm trying to match, along with a sample kit of finish options to compare with the existing casing. There was also a quote prepared for pricing when I'm ready to order. Very helpful and professional.
I ordered 2 new kitchen cabinets to replace warped cabinets that are in a home I just bought. The new cabinets came so warped we could not put them up. Lamperts made 2 new replacement doors and one came chipped and scratched and the other so warped we again cannot hang it. That whole process took 5 months of back and forth. I asked for some money back from the 200 dollars I spent to repair and paint the one cabinet and I was denied that. I would NEVER recommend Lamperts to anyone. I wanted a quote for storm doors. 2 trips there, only one person talked to us, NO follow-up by phone or online. They couldn’t even provide a ballpark figure for the price
