Iggy Vans is an amazing artist. He's been tattooing me since he was working at Idle Hand in the Lower Haight. I'm so glad he's got his own shop now. Now, I just go down to Lampblack to get hit with some ink. In fact, I'm going this Friday. Iggy drew me a custom piece. I'll post a photo when it's finished!
Iggy is the man! knows everything abiut tattoo lore, history, art and technique. He's a San Francisco icon. A hellua artist. Just close your eyes, let him have free rein and dig the results. Carpe Diem, Vitus brevus.
