One of the most beautiful Hotels we have ever been...The staff is extremely accommodating
An older hotel, the location boasts beautiful gardens and (for those of us of a certain age) a nostalgic layout and architecture. The staff were wonderful and good staff make or break any hotel experience.
Love the garden area and the coffee shop. But, our room was too hot. You have no control of the temperature because of that we did not sleep very well.
Loved the outdoors of this place!! Nice staff... but the rooms were not clean at all. We had to move three times. It should have been 4 but we were so tired. The room had mold up by the air filter. The rooms had dirt and hair all over the floors.. there was a roach dead in the bathroom.. I can go on and on..The carpet in all rooms need to be updated as a matter of fact everything in the rooms needed an update... the manager would not even give us any discount for our trouble...
the coffee shop is fantastic
good place to have a good time
it hasn't changed since 1972. not glamorous or luxurious. but it's close to everything and a great buy for $130 a night. nice pool. Loved my banquet for Redwood Reunion . We all stayed here and enjoyed the rooms, pool, coffee shop, room service, and great coffee shop
