What a beautiful place with quirky rooms. We stayed in Hansel and Greta cottage. Breakfast was included and was a continental which was more than enough. The town of Carmel by the sea has to be seen and you must go to the beach to watch the sunset. Breathtaking to say the least … the climb back up will be the same for other reasons lol 🤣

Always happy to help with recommendations or just a friendly chat. The hotel itself has a beautiful sitting area that really captures the charm of Carmel. This was our second time staying at this location. The first time was wonderful, this second time I payed for a bigger nicer room. Unfortunately when I went to set up pull out bed for my son, there was some very disturbing droppings. I approached front desk immediately. I was told management would be contacted and pictures were sent to them. Unfortunately management or staff never followed up with me or tried to rectify the situation even upon checkout.. to pay that much for a room and then have to deal with that when trying... read more
