RecommendedHarrel really knows his stuff. I am not a expert but I know enough to tell when people are full of it. I do all my own work but I had a very specific transmission problem and needed help. He was literally the only person in the country to know enough and have the patience to explain how to fix a it (I'm in Colorado and was unable to find anyone here who could help).

Mr Lamkin is the man to go to for any transmission need. He built a 4l60e for my daily driven sierra that I drive hard everyday. I will be bringing anymore transmissions I need built to him in the future and recommend anyone else do the same. He's three hours from my house but it's worth the trip
You could not find a better place to go, whether it be a transmission problem or just an issue with your vehicle. The owner Harrel Lamkin was amazing! The knowledge he can share with you about vehicles is unreal. He took the time to explain to me what it could be with my issue , then found the problem showed me what it was explained to me why it was happening and how I could prevent it again. Mr Lamkin is very knowledgeable and friendly and he managed to eliminate all the bad engineering from a previous owner and install a700r4 giving my 65 c10 the much needed overdrive. He is the man to see for all things transmission. Also heard he was the king of quadrajets as well
