From out of town and lost my radiator in Bee Cave. Charged me $915 for a job www.cars.com says should cost $478-$656. My local mechanic said $600 would have been too much. They also replaced the thermostat (retail$27) for $75. What a joke!

On June 17th, 2013 I took in my Toyota Sienna in for an oil change, inspection, and a maintenance check (fluids, whatnot) to Lamb's Automotive and Tire on Bell Blvd in Cedar Park. My usual mechanic does not do inspections, that is why I went to Lamb's. The mechanic at Lamb's came across some issues and the sales/front office person (I did not get the name, unfortunately), took me back into the shop. I was told that the rack and pinion was leaking, Transmission Plate leaking/seeping, tires were bad, and the one strut was leak... read more

They lied – They used to be real good back when Bob was there. Bob always made us a good deal and took great care of us. Well, he transferred to a different store last summer and boy did we tell the difference this last week! I took my car in because I knew the brake pads were worn down to the metal. I had called Lambs the week before to ask approximately how much it would cost to have brake pads replaced. The guy told me it would run between $190 to $220. So, I saved up the money and took it in. The guy looked at it and did... read more

Bad Service, Bad Experience, Stay Away!!! – I was thoroughly dissappointed with my experience at Lamb's Automotive in Georgetown. I am not automobile savvy as I don't know a headlight from my own tailight. The manager at Lamb's took full advantage of this fact and proceeded to sell me multiple items and services that were unneccessary. I went in for a basic oil change and ended with a bill for $250 worth of service that was only required to pad the margins of the auto shop. DO NOT GO TO LAMB"S AUTOMOTIVE, they will prey on u... read more

Austin's worst Auto Shop – I went to Lambs and had my inspection done, I had only had the car a short time, but the inspection still needed to be updated. When I get this establishment I was asking different questions about which tire is better. The guy responded with "well duh its a strip of rubber". If they are all the same then why are they priced differently? The same guy tells me I need 4 new tires, and windshield wipers in order to pass inspection. When I asked what did windshield wipers have to do with inspection and i... read more

Did not do work I paid for! – A couple of years ago I paid Lambs $136 to replace the in-cabin air filter on my Honda Pilot. Recently took it to another place for the same service ($87) and the mechanic stated that it was a "first time" change. Apparently on Pilots you have to cut out a plastic panel the first time you change this filter and it had never been done! I used to take it to Lambs for cheap oil changes and inspections but never again. They always "find" some other expensive thing they say needs to be fixed but real... read more

What a Disaster! – These comedians installed a $350 tire (asymmetrical tread) on my car inside out. On retuning to the shop to rectify the error they somehow proceeded to scratch the hell out of my alloy wheel. I would have had better luck in the Third World.
