Everything was mostly great until I moved out. Once you move out it is hard to communicate with Joann, the PM. They did have some weird rules, like not allowing you to have a doormat outside your door due to safety concerns. However, they do allow certain tenants to have their shoes scattered outside their front door right by the stairs. We have been here for 3 1/2 years and give this place high praise! The building manager was replaced during our time here and I have to say that the new manager, Joanne, is exceptional. She and her maintenance staff are very responsive to any issues and follow through very quickly on anything that comes up. She has made some welcome changes, especially to the communal trash areas, which are welcome as our place was close to the trash room. The building is well maintained for it's age. Very good apartment for the price! Location is great and the building feels safe! Some of the north facing apartments don't get the most light shining into them and the pipes are old and loud but the maintenance and building manager Dawn are very responsive! Would definitely recommend for those looking for an apartment under $1000!
