We, members of the senior population, are blessed to have this center at our disposal. I have been coming here for years for different activities. Ping pong, aqua aerobics and more. They offer multiple classes: exercise, yoga, zumba, Tai chi, even cooking classes. Computer room and exercise room with assorted equipment. They have assorted trips to museum, a movie, LBJ garden, BBQ, and more. They also offer live music concerts once in a while and West Coast dance classes every Thursday night. Went to yoga and pilates classes for the first time at the Lamar Senior Center and the instructor was wonderful guiding us through the different poses and providing explanations on how to modify depending on one's level. She also provides encouragement and is open to questions.
