Passing through town & saw this place on Google Maps. Stopped by to grab lunch it was 43$ for TWO LUNCH plates we had beef tips and rice , yams , collard greens mixed with cabbage . The beef tips were lacking in flavor they definitely used instant rice and tried to hide the flavor adding a ton of butter . Corn bread was delicious as well as the collards and cabbage - sweet tea had a great flavor. It was just overly sweet. Yams had a great flavor just a weird after taste . Excellent Service Went on a Wednesday, Beef Tips & Rice were awesome, Smothered Chicken was tender and delicious Yams were best I've ever had and Green Beans were a bit salty but great Was Take Out 11Jun2026
