Been here for 3 years and looking forward to living somewhere else. My initial deposit for when I moved in was stolen by previous managers, ac is still out as we speak in regards to my apartment and has been out for over 2 months now. I strongly do NOT recommend living at Lamar Landing Apartments! I want to share my honest experience living at Lamar Landing Apartments so that future tenants are aware of the problems I encountered. During my time living here, I experienced multiple serious issues: • Cockroach problem – Even though I kept my apartment very clean, there were still many cockroaches. Lamar Landing Apartments in Beaumont, TX has been the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. I moved out on February 25, 2025, and after more than eight months, I am still fighting to get back my $250 security deposit that I paid when I first moved in back in June 2022. I have a signed lease, move-in paperwork, and a written receipt signed by the former manager clearly showing I paid $1,100 total, including the deposit. This place is trash, no emergency maintenance. There's a tree that been down since Harvey! Sewage is terrible too..Lately I've been a little afraid because the lights are off on the outside of my apartment. This is scary because you never know who can sneak up on you. Na trash they kicked us out illegally and they will steal your rent money . Chrisalyn is the one . And my AC was off for a year and they didn’t fix it mildew
