This is Clara Sisson I had Dr Misra for several years he was wonderful he was very through he was very pleasant to talk he listened to every word you said and he wrote down everything I miss him so very much Clara Sisson
Had to schedule a month and a half prior to see him, the day of the appointment I get a call from his nurse saying he has to cancel and could never give an appointment that would work with my work schedule (4pm or 8am.) She initially claimed this was due to emergency, but later admitted that he just wanted to start leaving early. I think it's unprofessional to not honor an appointment because you decided that day you never want to work past 4pm again and then have your nurse lie about it.
Went in very excited to finally get the help I need for my depression and left bawling my eyes out. He made fun of my career choice and seemed to not care about me as a patient whatsoever.
Dr. Misra refused to treat my known and evaluated ADHD, but was more than willing to prescribe medications for no reason other than to prescribe something. Suggested lithium, depakote or geodon- when asked if this would help with my ADHD, the doctor said no. So, needlessly prescribed medications to patients who have no need for them.
I've been seeing Dr Misra for 12 years now. The only problem I have is waiting for hours in the waiting room.
He is very nice and caring he new I needed councilling and I got in right away to see dr.witzky
