I have dealt with back pain since 2011. Did PT, meds, acupuncture and nothing worked. When we moved to Northern California I went to Dr Sekon and had surgery on July 12th and I'm happy to say I'm feeling much better and no more shooting pain down my legs.
Dr Sekhon recently did surgery on my neck. I couldn't have asked for a better Doctor, I consider him to be excellent.
Dr. Sekhon and his Staff are incredible. They are quick to respond to phone calls and questions. They take as much time as you need for any questions or concerns and you never feel rushed. They are up-to-date on the latest treatments, so you are in the best hands possible. This office is one of the few medical offices that follow through with everything they tell you they will do. I wish I could give them 10 Stars.
This was my second surgery with Dr. Sekhon. The first was a neck fusion and this was a laminectomy. I was confident about this one because of my previous experience. Dr. Sekhon and his team obviously realize that there is more to a surgical experience than just the surgery. They are great at informing you of your choices and what you are likely to go through. They are responsive after the surgery, too, even weeks later. I'd go to Dr. Sekhon again and recommend him to anyone.
We would recommend Dr. Sekhon and his staff because he was the only surgeon out of three that told me if I didn't have pain down my leg I would still have pain after the surgery. At that time I didn't have any leg pain. When I did get leg pain I got right in and had the surgery, and I'm now pain free, and very happy. Dr. Sekhon is very personable, and kind. My wife and I had a great experience with all the office staff. I'm about a year out now and pain free.
Dr. Sekhon is an extremely caring and knowledgeable neurosurgeon. He makes sure his patients have the best care possible and thoroughly explains each procedure. It does take time to see him because of his expertise, however, the wait is well worth it. I would trust him with any family member and have recommended him to friends.
Dr. Sekhon is a compassionate and highly skilled professional. He spent a lot of time with me, answering my questions and addressing my concerns. He is patient, caring and made me feel like he was truly interested in my recovery and well being. He stays away from highly technical "doctor talk" and explains issues thoroughly, in a way that I can understand. I highly recommend him !!

I would recommend Dr. Sekhon to anyone with a back issue. He is the best of the best. I found him via the internet. He explains everything in detail. The surgery was exceptional and the recovery time the same. He listens to your concerns. His PA Greg Graves is also exceptional. Healing time was exactly what he said it would be. I had my surgery at Northern Nevada Medical Center and rate it 5 stars also. I highly recommend him!
