Blue Awning Lakota is the accent to downtown to Columbia. You can always get college students hanging out here. It's the best coffee shop in the city. The only problem with it is that they don't have a patio where you can sit outside. It's a great place to go to study or to chat with friends. However, it is usually packed inside.
Wonderful place to cosy up to a cup of coffee! This place is a fixture of downtown coffee shops where students and coffee lovers alike like to congregate for their caffeine fix! I love their hot chocolate and their chai coffees! They also sell their specialty beans, which many of my friends purchase on a regular basis to brew at home. RecommendedWow, absolutely love this coffee/eatery! Roasting coffee beans fills the air with an intoxicating aroma, Lakota is warm, inviting and intimate all at once. A perfect place to start your day or study in quiet and respectful atmosphere. Always staffed with knowledgeable and thoughtful people and the ownership is reflected by that. I bring their coffee and travel chemex anytime I leave Missouri lol. This place sets the tone of Columbia and sets the bar for the rest of the coffee snobs out there. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. ☕️
This is the third time that I've ordered something from them through Grubhub and is missing one or two items. Fix that please.

Don't go here unless you want coffee **anywhere else** to be ruined. They advertise truly! 😂☕ Great staff, quick service and amazing coffee.
you shouldn't have a sign outside advertising apple cider if you don't actually have apple cider.
