Okay I have never written a review in my life, but I somehow stumbled across this one so I just had to add my thoughts here. I have lived in the Lakewood Place apartments since August 2005, and DO NOT listen to that past review! She obviously must be nuts!! I have never had any issues here at all, what-so-ever! I have rented the Community Room twice now, and yes you have to put down a REFUNDABLE deposit of \$250 but as long as you dont trash the place he gives the check back to you! The management here is pure scum - trying to make as much money as they possibly can. A few warnings about this horrible apartment complex: 1. The manager is somehow allowed to park two cars in one of the larger indoor parking stalls - but NO ONE else can! The rules dont apply to him. 2. If you want to use the "community room" for guests - guess what? Plan on putting down a \$250 dollar deposit per night!
