Zach made an immediate great first impression. Just the way he touched Bama showed me that he cared about him. And how could you not be impressed by Dr. Honnas? She looked me right in the eye and gave me a firm handshake. All with that beautiful smile. She treated Bama just as Zach had - with tenderness and compassion. I immediately trusted her and hired her to be my veterinarian. My only regret is that I didn't find you sooner.
Literally, Dr. Brije Smith saved my girl. Margo has been having blow out diarrhea for months and Dr. Smith is the only one who has been able to stop it and get my girls health back to normal. I truly truly appreciate the care I received from this practice.
Dr. Honnas saved my dog's (Timmy) life. We brought him in overnight when Timmy was having trouble breathing. My current vet couldn't figure out what was wrong, so they told us to take him to Lakeway. Dr. Honnas came out to us 10 minutes after our arrival and said our boy had fluid around his heart that was constricting his blood flow. She said he needed an emergency procedure to pull the fluid off his heart. We are so thankful to Dr. Brije Smith. We brought our 15-year-old pup in through their emergency service and Dr. Smith was with us the whole way. They brought him straight back to evaluate his distended abdomen and after blood tests and ultrasounds our boy was eventually diagnosed with cancer. Our hearts are broken for our baby, however the whole experience was made as stress free as possible. Having an emergency is always rough, but Dr. Smith and her team made us feel safe and comforted. Dr. Honnas is phenomenal. She has gone above and beyond to care for our sweet boy, Moki. Our previous veterinarian said there was nothing they could do to treat Moki’s endocrine disease - so we switched vets for a second opinion and Dr. Honnas jumped at the chance to save our baby. He is doing so well and has energy back for the first time in months. Dr. Honnas takes our call anytime we have a question; I can’t express how much I appreciate the care we have received.
