This is a very nice place. My doctor performed my eye surgery here. The staff was awesome. Everyone made me feel comfortable and safe.
I just received a call today that before surgery I will have to pay a $300 dollar fee for use of the facility
I had the best experience at Lakeview. I had cataract surgery on both eyes and the surgery and staff were amazing. I can't say enough about Doctor James. If I were a spider and had more eyes, I'd go back and have those done as well. I highly recommend them.
The experience that we had was despicable. Let me say that the front receptionist staff was exceptional. Hence, the two stars. They were very helpful and accommodating. But from there it went down hill. The person that claimed to be the administrator is very disrespectful and condescending in her tone when speaking to patients and family. In fact, she hung up on me and claimed she didn't. No one introduced themselves but just started working as if the patient was apart of the assembly line. I do recommend this eye surgery center. I gave three stars because of improper accounting during my two visits. I paid the requested fee needed before surgery both times. But was sent a bill after the visits indicating that I still owe the Lakeview Surgery Center $100 total for my visits. Impossible! Without the Lakeview Surgery Center representatives saying it, it seemed clear to me that no medical procedure could occur without having paid first.
