The Lakeview was and STILL is one of the BEST places to eat in Maine. Went there Mothers Day and they were swarmed. No matter, we sat at the bar, got GREAT food and service! Carol and Dick would be very proud, Jon and Sue Holmes Dixfield, Me
Wasn't impressed by our meal one bit. Everything was cold and my prime rib wasn't even prime rib.... tasted like a big hunk of deli roast beef, my fries were cold and my girlfriend's food was also served cold. I bought 2 orders of peanut butter pie to go and when I got home and opened it I almost couldn't find it in the container it was so small. The service was good as usual. The meal was very disappointing, will think twice about going back.
