Personally I liked it better when the Districts had more control. Some of the staffers/interns you hire in my opinion are disrespectful towards the adults who give their time and to the kids we represent.
I attended summer camp at Lakeview in the early 50s. (Telling my age)! I still have some ceramic items I painted. Fun and fellowship.
I loved attending in the late 70’s and I just found out that my granddaughter will be attending this summer. Fourth generation to spend great summers there.
What a beautiful, inspiring, warm, and wonderful place! Hopefully we can use it in the future!
I love Lakeview Methodist Conference Center. I have been to quite a few Cub Scout camp outs here. The facilities are excellent. The staff is always great, and the environment is very beautiful. Putting together a fun weekend is easy here!
