Lakeview healthcare system screws up at every opportunity. The doctors are so so, but the administration in the offices and in the main hub for making appointments and referrals etc is horrible. The people at the doctor's offices do not send your prescription to the pharmacy in a timely manner, they give you the wrong address for the doctor you are going to, they tell you that you have to pay a dollar per page for your own medical records. My 93-year-old mother was a client of Lakeview Medical Systems since the mid 1980’s. The doctors, nurses, and office staff treated her very well. In 2010 my wife and I also became clients with the same practice. After a few years with this practice, my wife and I chose to leave. The reasons were simple. Office made a copy of my insurance card on my initial visit in October 2020. In November 2020, Doctor ordered CT scan and wanted me to return in one week to find out the results. Lake Medical Imaging was to call to schedule scan after receiving insurance approval. I made numerous phone calls to Lakeview Healthcare over a two month period to ask about the status of insurance approval.
