I’ve never been to nor heard of a rehabilitation center for addicts where I’ve come out knowing many new things about myself that I never acknowledged or found apparent. The structure and the meetings are very useful for learning coping skills and finding the ability to relate because of the H&I meetings brought in by 12 step entities. I have been twice and both times I came away with sense of purpose and open mindedness I couldn’t have acquired on my own.
