My experiences with Lakeview Center began on a positive note. My chikd needed to be seen, we went for initial psychosocial evaluation and spoke with wonderful staff in the Pensacola location. We were told we would get a call from Walton County to schedule. 2 weeks later I hadn't heard anything and I called Walton county and spoke with Wana who said my child would need to be seen in Defuniak. At first I was very skeptical because of previous experience with mobile crisis in my home state tends to not deescilate and just send children having a meltdown to the psych ward but here was absolutely amazed! My son was having a meltdown while in school and they called them out to help. I rushed to the school and when I got there mobile crisis was already there and had him settled down and calm enough to talk. Handsdown amazing work.
