I love Dr. Pain , she has been my doctor for 11 years , but since they move to ochsner it's not the same . I end up paying $300 for the same issue that I used to pay $150 it's not fair. I feel sad cause now I have to change to another doctor .
I had problems after my surgery and spent a week in the hospital but was sent home with no discharge instructions and received no follow up phone. Then no return phone call after calling in with a serious problem. (I found another doctor who wanted to readmit me that day). Today was supposed to be my last follow up appointment and after waiting an hour - again - my doctor left to deliver a baby. I understand that but no one told me or offered a solution. I don't know what happened to the service here but it's gone down the drain since they moved over to Ochsner. Whenever I need a nurse on call or to reach a doctor on call it was great, and so easy to get a quick call back. as of tonight, I haven been waiting for hours to not only reach a nurse on call, but then to get her to page my doctor, and then get a prescription called in and then when it was finally called it, no one knew I was breastfeeding and how it would react.
