RecommendedVery good vet. Goes the extra mile and listens to what you are saying. She has flexible times if I can't get there before closing she will wait for me or come back.
She cared for my cat Pye the week of Thanksgiving. Pye was very sick! Dr. Powers kept checking on her even though it was a holiday. She gave us great advise & Pye is healthy & happy today. I fear if we had seen someone else the outcome would not be positive.
Dr Powers and her staff are wonderful. Six months ago I used her after a terrible experience at vet in Atascadero. She solved a foxtail issue that should have been resolved day before July 13 I took my dog in gor a rattle snake bite. She and tech were so compasionate. They explained what needed to be done and what to expect the next few days. Hands down she is the best vet around.
Dr. Powers has a gift. Her talent lies not only in her knowledge of veterinary medicine, but also in her thoughtful bed side manner. I have a cattle dog with anxiety around strangers, and he always has to be muzzled, held, or sedated to have anything work done. The moment I walked in the clinic she had patience with my pooch; remaining calm, allowing him to get used to her, and helping me to feel more at ease as well.
