After using them to store my things for almost 4 years, a unit that wasn't sealed enough to keep insects and rodents out, and after raising the rent multiple times, increases exceeding $50, I asked to use their truck, which I didn't use when moving in. I needed to move my things 1/2 mile away into my enclosed trailer that I cannot move to their facility but was told no. They only use it "as a marketing ploy." I don't make a habit of using businesses that don't care about their customers especially faithful long term customer... read more

I have never rented a storage unit before Lakeside Stor & Lock. I am a 22 year old newly wife, mother and 1st time home buyer. We had our belongings in storage here for 6 months while we were buying our 1st home and let me tell you disgusting doesn't even come close to describing not only the manager or our furniture when we went to take it out!
