Lakeside! Lakeside Gardens is a breath taking and romantic setting for a wedding or any other special event. One feature that this facility provides that is very useful in Oregon is that you can get married outdoors or indoors because the weather her is so unpredictable. The swans in the lake the bridges, gazebos, trellis and the beautiful landscaping all provide gorgeous pictures and memories that will last a lifetime.
Fantastic This is a beautiful setting. The staff move things along nicely and everything seems to be handled professionally. The couple getting married didn't have to worry about anything and were able to enjoy their day.
Wedding Paradise with a downside Although I rated this establishment with 3 starsâ¦there is a downside. As parents of the bride we wouldn't recommend Lakeside Gardens without first warning people about Julie (the wedding coordinator). The place is clean & gorgeous. The food good, but don't turn Julie loose on your wedding day without first designating someone for her to ask if there's a question. The wedding was set for 2:30 and people were still arriving at 2:25. Yet Julie told our DJ to wrap up the background music. She t... read more
What a serene setting in the middle of a city.
...Went shopping to Dunedin to cute little shops like Darling Memories,Amanda Austin and Rose Garden. Everyone in these shope were nice and welcoming. I wanted to end my shopping experience with a nice cup of Java. Whe I walked to Cappucino's Bakery...I saw a couple of customers and once person working behind the counter so I decided to sit and but my bags down. When I sat on the counter...the lady working there didn't aknowledge me but I figure she was alone so I didn't take it personally. Since I really was craving my cup ... read more

Wedding Paradise, with a downside – Our daughter's wedding was set for 2:30. At 2:25 people were still arriving, yet Julie told our DJ to wrap up the background music. She then turned to the bride's aunt (my sister) and told her to immediately start her piano medley. Guests continued coming but when our DJ pointed it out, Julie replied in a tone and the assurance of a drill sergeant, "The wedding WILL start at 2:30." Great Venue, Terrible Service – I had my wedding there in the winter season. It was absolutely beautiful. The staff was very helpful up to the point of the wedding day itself. I will not go the nitty gritty of what all they tried and did pull off. A couple of things to note: they serve dinner on salad plates! They charge for bottles of wine that were unused.
