RecommendedBest ice cream I have had in a long time. Prices were good and friendly staff. This was a delicious treat on a hot 4th of July afternoon.
Deep creek lake definitely needs some more competition for lakeside creamery very slow service very rude service and they don’t follow the hours that they post. Most times being run by youngsters seems to be no adult supervision holding anyone accountable. Seems they could handle about half the business that they are actually getting.
After waiting for 30 minutes with only 2 people in front of me. I ask for a quart of coconut ice cream . I am told they don’t have any pre-packed quarts even though it is on the menu. So it took 20 minutes for the prior person to receive 3 double scoop cups. Which would be 6 scoops ... But yet I can’t get a quart which would be 8 scoops??? Makes no sense .

We are so sorry you had this experience and had to wait so long! We are working on a new system to better display the available quart flavors every day since they are different than what we have in the dipping cabinets (which is the Today's Flavors List). Our quarts are pre-filled by our in house ice cream maker when he mixes the flavor initially:) Hope this helps explain some of the confusion!

So happy to see you open again! Staff was super sweet and fast always! Our family all love the variety of choices and all the toppings you can add!! I tried a new one for myself today- Apple Pie Ice Cream with Caramel.....omg!! I'm not even a sweets person but I probably said 20 times how delicious it was haha. Thank you!!
2 and 3 year employees couldn’t make change! Scoops were minuscule. Had no clue it was National Ice Cream Day. Very limited choice of flavors. Gothic make up on employee was disturbing.
Best ice cream ever!!!! Definitely a must when we go to the lake!!

Hey guys! I’m happy to up my 4-star rating to a 5, because your ice cream is DELICIOUS... but I wonder if there’s anything you can do about the bees out back? We got swarmed by probably a half dozen of them while we were trying to sit at the picnic tables this morning! Like not just buzzing around us — actively chasing us around the parking lot! Such a shame because it should be the ideal spot to have a snack on the water!
