My mother wasn’t even in the Normandy for 24 hours for physical and occupational therapy when I found her in her room with the door shut with blood all over the floor and blood all over my mothers head,neck and face from falling and busting her head, god only knows how long she was lying there or how much longer she would have been lying there if I didn’t show up when I did, needless to say she will never go back.
I want to give a huge shout out to the Normandy and their staff especially Emily, Whitney, Keshawn and Davinci who all had a huge part in my uncle’s care. From start to finish, I had to do absolutely nothing but visit because everything was taken care of for us. They paid close attention to our needs and took over from there. I could not ask for better care than what we are receiving and that also includes his team of occupational and physical therapist. ⚠️ WARNING: Do NOT bring your loved ones to Normandy Care Center ⚠️ I had one of the worst experiences ever while visiting my mother here. When I arrived, she didn’t even have water and this isn’t the first time. I asked a nurse about it, and she grabbed an old, dirty cup from the floor to fill it. I had to ask her to please use a clean one. She finally did, but then filled it with ice, and I asked her to pour some of it out since my mom doesn’t like it too cold.
