Lost my boy and found he was suffering from congestive heart failure for some time and they never diagnosed it. They were his vets for almost 14 years and he went undiagnosed but they made sure to push heart guard and flee treatments though. My boy could have had a better quality of life if I had picked his veterinary care more wisely and he had been treated, they are suppose to pay attention and catch severe issues like this right???
Prices are low but it's VERY difficult to get in to see a vet the same day if there's a problem or sudden illness with your pet.
What kind of place turns away sick pets because you are not taking new clients at this time!!!
I just called to get my dog in for vaccinations, and the soonest they could squeeze him in is MAY 23rd! It is Feruary 18th!! That's crazy!!! They didn't even get my reminder card to me in time to schedule him before they expire!

So disappointed in Lakeside. Have been here since the 80's but the way I was treated on Oct. 25 - I will never be back. I needed to have my 19 year old cat euthanized. They would not do it because they were booked. The girl at the front desk did not show one ounce of compassion. Doctors were no better. When she finally went back to ask them they said I could "drop him off". Not a caring word. There was even a customer there telling them to help me. Dr. Terry is my favorite Veterinary doctor. She has always shown compassion and love towards my animals. She was especially compassionate during the past year when my cat's health started to fail.
