RecommendedI had called to schedule an appointment for my baby girl. They were able to schedule us that day. The outcome was not good, but the Dr was able to give us another day to spend with her before the inevitable needed to happen. The staff was very comforting. We chose to have her cremated. When I picked up the ashes and arrived home and unpacked the bag, I was very moved to find a sympathy card signed with very thoughtful words from the staff also. We love lakeshore for all of our pets. We previously went elsewhere and they had misdiagnosed one of our dogs, so we brought her to lakeshore and within minutes they knew what was wrong with her and was able to fix her and get her the right medications.
I do not recommend Lakeshore at all. The vet misdiagnosed my Yorkie's diagnosis. She told me that she is very sick and I should consider my options. The first thing she said was to put the dog to sleep. I was shocked. She had no bedside manner and wanted to hurry the situation along because it was Saturday and they only worked 1/2 day. We finally took our dog to MedVet and my pet is now fine after medication MedVet, Toledo, gave her and it was only gastric - to think if I would have listened to her - my pet would be dead and... read more
