Absolutely horrible experience with management at Lakeshore Apartment Homes. We were dealing with a serious medical condition that may require surgery, and instead of showing even basic human understanding or compassion, they only cared about charging fees and enforcing penalties. We tried to explain the situation respectfully and hoped they would work with us or offer some flexibility, but they refused to cooperate. I have been a resident of Lakeshore Apartments for period of 3 years. I had to move to the Evansville area rather quickly and was looking for a place close to the city but not actually within the city. That's when I discovered Lake Shore apartments. Three years ago, I loved this place, and gave it 5 starts but my experience has taken a turn for the worse under new management. It's disappointing to see outdated appliances and no maintenance team. The property's upkeep has clearly declined, as evidenced by the snow removal this year compared to last. When I asked about the snow, I was advised to purchase a shovel, last year they cleared the parking lot and sidewalks now that new management takes over they didn't clear anything. New management took over like 6 months ago and now they won't fix anything. I don't understand I can't get a hold of management they won't answer the phone, I put in work orders on the app they get maked as completed when they are not. They are not open before and after work closed on the weekends so I tried the text number provided on the maintenance app and no reply. It's sad this place used to be nice, now trash is everywhere, outside light poles and things are rusted. I paid $25 a month for trash service it never got pic... read more
