The owner is a very rude, crabby old man!!! On December 5, 2019 I reserved a room for a night in January. Well, shortly after, I called again and CANCELLED the reservation. Well, low and behold...they charged us for the room!!!🤬🤬🤬 I called there and got this guy on the phone (the old crabby one) right from the git go he was nasty. Crabby Pattie up there was getting mad. It is a clean and adequate older style motel with no frills. Maybe a little overpriced for what you get.
Every time we come, it improves :). The owners are lovely local folks, the rooms are comfortable, clean, and affordable. We've been there many times and every stay is everything we need, and nothing we don't. I can't imagine staying anyplace else in Virginia, MN!
Our room was recently renovated. It was a beautiful room. Very well done. Nice bathroom, the bed was amazing, and cozy. Our room had a microwave, fridge, TV with hbo, great shower, & the bed was comfy. Will definitely be coming back for another stay.
The ( Prouts) who own the place go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. There is NO other place in Virginia that I stay at....because no other place makes you feel that welcome. Everytime I come up to the great Northland...I stay here. The rooms are clean...it's quiet...and the owners just make it a zen like experience to stay at. 5 stars!!!!
